Frequently asked questions
Can it handle reverse charge for EU clients?
Yes. Mark a client as an EU business and their invoices are zero-rated with the reverse-charge note and their VAT ID printed on the document. Small-business status is a single switch that zero-rates everything with its own note.
Where does the invoice PDF go?
It is generated inside the document and stored on the invoice record, so the exact file your client received stays in the capsule. Open it any time, or save a copy wherever you like.
What happens if I invoice the wrong hours?
Issue a cancellation invoice. The original stays exactly as it was sent, the cancellation mirrors it with the signs flipped, and the hours go back to unbilled so you can put them on the invoice that replaces it.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no signups. Open the template and start using it.
Where is my data saved?
On your own device, inside a single .capsule file you choose the location of — the same way a photo or a spreadsheet is saved. Nothing is uploaded.
